dear doctor iam 33year male from a small town hassan-my problem is recenetly before a years exactly from 01-01-2009 is confirmed that i got hypertension and cholestrol,tryglyceride and uric acid when i gone to my family physiscian.but doctor said nothing to worry it is just marginally high then he prescribed me aten25(atenolo25mg)-od,macter-ez(atorvastan10mg,ezemb..de),and zyloric 100mg(allupr....) after one month doctor said stop macter ez and zzzyloric....then after three month i got dizzziness and i feel like falling downd again i rush to doctor he said bp is litle high around 150/90 the he presribed amlong-A(amlodepine5mg and atenolol 10mg) till from that day iam taking amlong -A (od)without missing .everything was fine upto the 7month and now tmy problem arrive like streching in my right hand and soemthing is happening in head like mild pain and feell like some time i fell down but not for that i shown to neurophysician and ct scan tooo he sya normal no problem and after soemdays it statarts like that then i consult nerou surgeon from bgs-global(dr.nayak) he say no problem he prescribe amit-10mg (amitriphylline)and nergiven (methylcobalamine)but again and again i shown the neuro physian in my place he said no problem no need of medicne accept that amlong a and shown to my family doctor too many time he said the same and shown one of internal medicine speciallist recently he also said no0 p[roblem even i shown to pshyctriatist who knows me from child would he said u dont have any pshycological problem .two three time i visited him he said the same and even again i visited ortho surgeon too he said the same finally the result is coming normal even iam not panic about this iam normal i know the problem is still i had such think which u can decide now i loss hope on doctors my problem is simple but i dont know wheter they solve it or not i cant take much physicall work due to this specailly i can travell and in morning time while i wake up the muscle were tough some time i feell like my legs are tieng with rope and my head is bearing the weight of all bodyy body feels like floating on waves(and iam 100percent sure that this not feeling this really happening this very simple proble that can be solve ) iam a pharmacist(d.pharma) /(bsc microbilogy)from last 13 years working in pharmacy and iam 100 percent sure that i dont have an somatic disorde and i agree it may be looks like non specific symptom but iam psycologically fit too please do help get me out of this so that i will be happy. thanking you haseeb

Hi Haseeb! I have studied the details you have provided. If I were your doctor, I'd look at the possiblity of postural hypotension, that is the drop in blood pressure (BP) on changing the posture. Get your BP checked on lying down, and then standing up. If the difference is high, you are having postural hypotension and your symptoms can be attributed to that and you may need to change the drug. Anyway, I'd like to change is atenolol, which I prefer to avoid in young males. The muscle pains could have been due to statins. If all these things are normal, then I'd consider adding clonazepam. Trust I have answered your question.
