What Causes Feeling Of Food Struck In Throat During 39 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I have a feeling of food stuck in my throat. I'm guessing this is because of the uterus compressing all my organs and pushing my food up??? Is there anything I can do to get rid of this or at least help me deal with it until the baby is born?

hi,you are absolutely right as the gravid uterus pushes the diaphragm and hence all organs up and hence your symptoms.take small frequent and non spicy easy to digest foods like toast, fruits, salads and less of red meat and fried foods which are difficult to digest.you can start tab pantop d twice a day and you should go for light walks for better digestion.take care.
