What Causes Feeling Of Something Is Stuck Below Throat?

I am 74 y/o female, sometimes when I swallow it feels like food is stuck right below my throat. I usually drink warm water with meals, as ice seems to "close" my throat. One time when this happened, even warm water would not get through and I ended up vomiting to get it open. Just an hour ago, I took some ibuprofen that feels stuck; warm water seemed to finally help it pass.

its important to visit ENT specialist .
get barium swallow done.
flexible endoscopy should also be done to reach the diagnosis
