What Causes Feeling Of Something Struck In Throat?
Hi, I felt like I had something stuck in my throat, but it is just a ball of skin, whitish with a red circle around it, stuck to the roof of my mouth. What is it? I didn t eat anything unusual today, just special k cereal which I don t typically have. Should I be concerned?
Noted your short history of something stuck in throat feeling with a ball of skin, whitish with red circle around it, ate nothing unusual just special K cereal, wants to know whether to be concerned. The ball which you told about is not very specific to tell about a proper diagnosis. The possibility of granular pharyngitis or an aphthoid ulcer or so should be thought about. And the best thing is to consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, ENT Endoscopy and any investigations as would be advised. All this will give a proper diagnosis and thus a plan for management. Till then go for Betadine gargles. Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you. Further management will be as per the cause found.
