What Causes Feeling Shocks In Vagina?

lately for about 2 weeks i have been feeling shocks in my vagina. they can range from not painful (just getting my attention) to painful where i need to stop what i am doing or switch positions because staying in one position is very uncomfortable. the shocks only last about 30 seconds to 1 minute long, but this does not feel normal. should i be alarmed? is it possible i have toxic shock syndrome?
