What Causes Fetal Distress?

my daughter had an emergency c section this morning due to fetal distress with heart rate in the 50 s, maternal exhaustion was a factor,

throughout this second pregnancy she has experienced anxiety because she told her doctor her lmp was may 16, 2010, and that june 16, 2010 she had small pink tinged discharge that required only one panty liner then stopped. Her doctor recorded june 16 as lmp, this become problematic because her fundus measured 4 wks bigger at ea visit than her ultrasound measured (us seem to be give or take 7 or 14 days depending on which part of the fetus is measured as shown on the ultrasound) On Jan 11 ,2011 her doctor put her on bed rest for threatened pre term labor because she was dilated 2 cm and starting to thin out he also documented on her medical leave papers that he gave her breathine at this point (which he did not) also he started doing weekly digital exams at this point which I thought could bring on the threatened pre term labor. Tuesday March 8 he said she was 37 wks and 5 days and her amniotic fluid was low, her b/p was 158/100, which went down as soon as she got out of his office, (she has been fearful and anxious due to her doctors patronizing attitude toward her due date anxiety and the breathine documentation error.Any way she was admitted at 2:00 pm on March 8, and Pitocin was started at 4:00 PM and at that time her ob gyn ruptured her membranes and left the building she was 4 cm and 80% thinned out. 7:00 pm 4 cm 100% thinned out , at 2:30 am she was 6% and in unbearable pain as the pitocin had been turned up so she got a "walking epidural" THEN no change at 6;30am and a nurse called her Dr. the baby was having low hr in the 50s and my daughter had been projectile vomiting for about an hour. At 8:30 am they took her to surgery, her reg ob doesnt do c sections so the other partner and him were in there as well as my son in law, the dr who created the fetal cord distress and the maternal exhaustion got his arms up on her chest and pushed the baby down while the other doctor pulled him out, the baby was near black, I am angry and angry and cant rest this off my mind I believe it was deliberate and nearly satanic, when I briefly went in the so called Birthing room (briefly because they encourage only the fathers be in there )shouldnt they call her ob, maybe an amniotic fluid infusion and impending c section is what I was thinking and I made this request at 4:00 am, my daughter near panicked "oh mama don't", they've told me over and over that Dr-----------never helps and he won't come. I said it's been 12 hours and I know you were a little dehydrated before the vomiting, (and she also told the anesthesiologist that she had reacted badly to morphine type drugs in the past) then 4 hours later this c section. her first baby was vaginal 7 years ago at a bigger hosp that doesnt claim to be a (birthing center) that baby also had cord depression and late decels but they did infuse warm saline and no

epidural or pitocin , she delivered 5 hours post admit that time. I had already had words with this ob at the birthing center because of my sons baby who is 8 months old because the thursday after the birth heordered a bilirubin that no one adressed until Fri evening and that was because I threw a fit, her biliruben lights were delivered that Fri and her

bilirubin was 14.8. I believe he deliberately created this hell on earth for my daughter because she is a nurse who dared question the due date and because I had got upset over the neglected lab results of my son's child. last friday this same birthing facility has 6 ob beds and did 6 c sections (same doctor)s tonight they delivered two new borns and two got shipped stat to University hospital nicu one even intubated this is 100 % percent statistic for complicated births from Friday to Tuesday and this place has a long reputation for this kind of thing. for the record I strongly encouraged my son and daughter to go somewhere else. they are adults and make their own decisions, i feel compelled to report this facility and this doctor but i dont know where to start, i dont know what is going on for sure in there but something is not right?4pm arom and pitocin 2:30 am epidural

4:30 to 6:00 am off and on hard vomiting and dry heaves, 6:30 am baby in distress, 8:00 am to surgery 8:38 infant delivered 16 hours of this , it just seems wrong wrong wrong, help so this granny and mom can rest
