What Causes Fetus To Move Rapidly All Of A Sudden?
I am almost 39 weeks pregnant, starting last night I began getting period like cramps, this morning my baby felt like he had moved sideways head on the right side feet on the left, ever since then he has been moving non stop (before he was super lazy and non active unless it was bed tkme). It does feel like he is back to being head down. How do I know if he is ready again (head down) and why all the sudden non stop moving, cramp like feelings, and pressure?

Excessive fetal movements with uterine contraction followed by sudden stopping of fetal movements is a sign of concern . It may be due to starting labor pains/post maturity./ fetal distress.
* consult your health care provider urgently to check fetal heart sounds
Cramp like feelings/ down word pressure indicate onset of labor.
* after assessing fetal condition / placental maturity/ cervical opening, you may need assistance for your delivery.
