What Causes Fever After Retinal Dettachment In Both Eyes?

my father is sufferng from CMV , herpes simplex virus, he has had retinal dettachment n both his eyes about a month ago and only partial vision in his one eye only.....from the last few days he has high fever and has had many scan btu nothing could be found..............could any one suggest any specialist..........please

Retinal detachment is not known to cause fever. Fever is usually seen in infections and inflammatory conditions.
In your fathers case viral infections by CMV or Herpes is responsible for fever.
Hence this requires treatment for these viral infections.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
