What Causes Fever Along With Body Ache, Headache And Dizziness?

Hi, I have had a fever of 100.8 to 101.4 that seems to increase with activity (My normal body temp. runs 96.4) and i have had diarrhea (20+ times yesterday, less today after taking anti-diarrheal medicine) and I have been having pain in my bones, body aches, headaches, stuffed up nose but very light coughing, fatigue, and dizziness.

Hello,

Your symptoms of high fever associated with diarrhea, and pain overall your body, light coughing are indicating stomach bug. Continue taking the medications as prescribed by your doctor.

Take more fluids to replace the lost ones like water with oral rehydration salt. Fatigue and dizziness are due to loss of fluids and electrolytes. Take anti-diarrhea medications as prescribed such as Pepto-Bismol or Tasectan, also take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora.

Take cough medicines such as antihistamines, if it is associated with phlegm can use mucolytic to dissolve the phlegm. If still no improvement, get another follow up with your doctor as might need prescription medicines.
