What Causes Fever Along With Chronic Cough And Body Rashes?

My daughter is 8. She has had a fever for 2 days. Highest being 101, so not too high. She also has a bad cough. Yesterday she kept getting splotches of hives. They would go away, but then come back. It happened on one cheek, then the back of her neck, her ear, and her foot. she is not complaining of a sore throat right now. Could this be strep?

Hi,

As per my clinical experience, this is most commonly due to strep infection. Needs precise antibiotic coverage, anti histamine, local application of calamine type lotion, supportive care with hydration, anti-pyretic & medications for congestion of cough.

Till that time bath tub with lavender oil and Epsom salt, dispersible tablet of Paracetamol will work best for primary relief.
