What Causes Fever And Belching?

Hi For 3 days I have been having fever going to 102degrees in late afternoon. Had a terrible bloated feeling and belching a great deal. Took Laxative and finally went a little but I hadn t gone in 4 days. Felt better today but fever is back again. What could this be?

Fever of 102 that comes and goes with abdominal bloating can be because of malaria/typhoid/gall bladder or liver infection/urinary tract infection.

I recommend you to visit physician for detailed medical history,proper physical and abdominal examination.
Certain investigations like peripheral blood smear,widal test,liver function tests,urine routine microscopy will be needed.
Based on results of abdominal examination,USG abdo may be needed.
Above conditions can be taken care of with antibiotics with course of 7-10 days.
Take antipyretic tab.paracetamol 3-4 times a day with antacid for 3-5 days.
