What Causes Fever And Breathing Problems?

miserable!!! for the past three days I have ran a fever ranging from 100.5-102.3.. this occurs usually at night.. during the day my body hurts and I feel weak!! I get to shaking real bad and can t warm up!!! when I breathe normal it hurts but when I take deep breathe it sounds like a soda fizzing...

Hi ,
Fever from last three days ( high grade ) with pain all over body and difficulty in breathing.
All these symptoms may be due to these reasons , these includes.
1 Common cold or viral fever or flu . Physical examination with complete history of illness is important in this type of cases ,but these symptoms are self limiting so take tylenol ( paracetamol 10 mg / kg body weight twice or thrice in day).
2 As you mentioned that there is breathlessness and all body hurts , so may be due to asthmatic allergic bronchitis . Usually due to allergy and infection such type of symptoms occurs . In this condition patient usually feels whistling sound with fever and watery eyes . When such patient visit I prescribe them montelekast+ levoceterizine ( combo ) one or two tablets in days with paracetamol.
3 Typhoid fever may be the another reason of such symptoms ,so get in blood for Widal test.
As there are so many reasons of such fever and this history of illness is very short ( incomplete ) so consult a physician and get his opinion.
