Hello there, I am Dr Asanghanwa Carlson. I would say you have a condition known as persistent generalised lymphadenopathy with fever. The most probable causes of this are lymphoma which is a form of cancer, Sarcoidosis, early HIV infection and others. However these are medical conditions which require proper diagnosis and eventualy a lymph node biopsy. I would advise you consult your physician and a lymph node biopsy is carried out. It could be one of the above cited conditions or some other medical condition. Good luck

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Ganesh's  Response
Welcome to health care magic.

1.In this case the gland itself can be the cause, due to the inflammatory change there is enlargement of the gland ( possibly you are talking about thyroid )
2.Incase of infection or inflammation , localised or systemic you can get the fever and temperature changes.
3.So an ultrasound of the gland will help to evaluate the possible pathology in the gland, its blood supply.
4.After that if required an FNAC from the swollen gland will give definitive cause for the symptoms.
5.At the same time an abdomen pelvis ultrasound to asses internal organs any thing is causing the symptoms.
6.Suggest to get appointment and get evaluated and treated accordingly. Good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
