My husband had a laser erosion treatment at the dentist office today was given amoxicillin - he took four pills at one time at the dentist. When I came home at 4:30 he was covered in blankets and shaking - it was more than shivering. He said it had been that way for an hour or more. His temp is currently 101.6. He is very weak, cold and achy. Also said he had a headache. I don t know if he is having a reaction to the medicine or if he has the flu. He is 74 and very healthy, never one to complain when he doesn t feel well. I am concerned and would like to know if I should take him to the emergency room or wait it out.
