What Causes Fever And Headache?

My son is experiencing symptoms of sensations on his skin. He describes the sensation as a bruised feeling but no sign of a bruise. The sensation began in his leg about 4 days ago and now has climbed to his back area too. He is feverish, headache, but not signs of nausea or diarrhea.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The sensation of bruise seems underlying inflammatory reaction to pyrexia of various reasons, else the body ache may also manifest as same in children due to their perspective to the same.

I would like to start symptomatic therapy as per the clinical scene and observe the child on periodic basis for further need of any lab tests or so.

Wish him fine recovery.

Thanks.

Regards.
