What Causes Fever And Loss Of Appetite In A Child?

My one year old has been having temp of 99 on and off He was diagnosed with pneumonia and has been put on antibiotics with nebulization 10 days ago. At the last doctor visit, he said the chest is clear. But my baby is still having 99 F on and off since then. I do not understand the cause. He also has lost his appetite.
