General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Have you done culture and sensitivity of urine. Bactrim won't be effective in all case. If she is having high fever or difficulty in taking fluids she should be hospitalized as intravenous fluids and parenteral antibiotics will be needed. Antibiotics should be changed according to culture and sensitivity report also. A review with your paediatrician or to ER is well appreciated. Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you. Thanks.
