What Causes Fever And Runny Nose In A Baby?

My son is 9 months old and has had fever upto 103.....earlier his fever used to rise every 4-5 hours, now it comes every 8-9 hours(today is the 6th day) he has had cough since yesterday and very runny nose today. I have been giving him Combiflam syrup and Phenergan. we started his antibiotics day before (AZEE 100mg) now his fever rises to 101(+-). his blood and urine reports are normal, what is it? when will he get ok????
