What Causes Fever, Chills, Body Aches, Headache, Nausea And Loss Of Appetite?
i had 102.9 fever accompanied by chills, body aches headache nausea and lack of appetite. went to urgent care, flu was ruled out. they took blood , but said to check back with them in two weeks. so i went to my doctor the following day and he also took blood, said could be lyme or virus. how can i rule either one out.

There are tests for lyme disease that can be done. These are in the form of blood tests.
The symptoms can occur with viral illnesses as well. With most viral illnesses, there is improvement by day 3 to 5.
Fluids, rest and the use of appropriate pain killers would be helpful. Paracetamol can be used.
