What Causes Fever Followed By Nausea And Hearing Loss?

Yesterday I was sitting in a car, which was probably around 75-80 degrees when might sight went dark and I started feeling nauseous. Then my hearing went out and I had to lay down. I did not feel hot, hungry, or thirsty. 10 minutes later it stopped. Now I have a slight fever. Any idea what it could be? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think it was a hypotension episode due to hot weather and feeling dehydrated. Also, the absence of fresh air may have contributed to it. You may need to lay down, open windows to let fresh air to come in and have a cold beverage.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
