What Causes Fever, Headache And Red Bumps All Over The Body?

My son has had a fever, headache and sore throat off and on for 7 days. Tonight a rash appeared on his belly, neck and edges of face--many small red bumps covering his whole torso. I will take him to our GP tomorrow, but maybe I wonder if it s more urgent and I should take him to hospital tonight.

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend using a throat spray for local treatment.
