What Causes Fever, Heart Palpitations, Exhaustion And Drowsiness?

My son has had a fever for the past three weekends. lasting about 2 days. It always hits at least 102. He has had fast breathing and look of pure exhaustion. Just wants to sleep all day. No vomitting and no diarrhea. He Has been playing soccer every Sat. And I am wondering if the sports are making his body too weak to fight this sickness. Every weekend

Hi,

He must be exhausted because of the game causing fever. Just do a whole body checkup. To know if he has any other systemic problems. Just for a check not that he may have anything. Nothing to be scared.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rohit S. Menon, Dentist
