What Causes Fever, Occasional Chest Pain, Cough And Breathing Difficulty?

I ve been sick for around a week now. Temperature, occasional chest pain, very bad cough and trouble breathing - I was prescribed an inhaler to help with that. Today I noticed that when I cough my left side seems to hurt. I think it may be my kidney. What could this mean? I m a 15 year old female.

Hi,

You may be suffering from lower respiratory tract infection. It may be acute bronchitis or pneumonia or bronchial asthma. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Augmentin twice a day for five days. Use syrup Ascoryl 2 teaspoon thrice a day for five days.

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, caffeine drinks. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
