My son (6 years old) has fever the same time ( about 4:30 a.m.) every day for several days. Doctor does not know the reason. He has no pain, no cough, or running nose, just fever. The temperature is going down after taking Tylenol. Please explain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The fever with the periodic occurrence, may be due to the malaria, tonsillitis, pharyngitis,or urinary tract infection.
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment. He may need to have blood tests and urine tests for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, paracetamol, reziz.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
