What Causes Fever, Rash And Low Counts Of WBC And Platelets?

My daughter just got back from teaching in Korea and she toured Thailand and Vietnam as well. She got sick when she got back (flu like symptoms) and got a prescription z-pack. She started feeling better but broke out in a rash, she went to clinic and they did a CBC. They have told me that she has a low white blood cell count and a low platelet count with some cell blasts showing. They have taken another blood sample and stool sample and we are to go over the results in 2 days. What are the possible illnesses that this could mean?

This is plain infection and could be parasitic likely Z lets wait for the result and then we can arrive at an excatly diagnosis.
