What Causes Fever, Severe Cough And Runny Nose With Thick Nasal Mucus?

Hi, my 5 yr old son is having serious bout of cough mostly at night with a runny nose filled with thick yellow mucus. Temperature is just warm, but sometimes it might be too warm . He is just so uncomfortable. Pls what antibiotic can I get for him. Thanks
