What Causes Fever, Shivering And Diarrhea In Children?
Hi, actually my son has just got fever suddenly and was shivering.i had given him zenteel tab on Friday night. He passed motion thrice on Sunday. He did eat dosa for lunch outside and had orange juice before going to bed at 9.30 p.m. I cannot figure out what must have gone wrong. I have given him ibugesic plus syrup around 12 ml . Now what next?

Hello,
Most likely it is viral diarrhea.
Justvwait and watch,give him plenty of oral liquids to prevent dehydration and syrup paracetamol in the dose of 15 mg per kg of body weight ( single dose ).You can give it 4 times a day if required.
Consult a doctor if loose motions are very excessive and if he is unable to take any thing by mouth.
He should be all right in next 48-72 hours.
