What Causes Fever, Sore Throat And A Rash In The Inner Arm?
I have been freaking out for three weeks now. Back in December I had PROTECTED anal sex during a dumb hookup. He pulled out and everything before climax. About 2 weeks later I came down with a fever, sore throat, etc and a rash on my inner arm. My doctor said the rash was a sign of possible walking pneumonia. He have me antibiotics and I was fine two days later. Could I have been infected with HIV?

Hi,
You have unprotected intercourse history. So there is chance of acquiring HIV infection if your partner is infected with it. I suggest you not to take risk and rule out HIV by CMIA combo test (detect antigen as well as antibody). This test should be carried out after six week of exposure.
