What Causes Fever, Weakness, Hips And Legs Pain With Abnormal Blood Results?

My husband has been sick for 10-12 days. Weak, pain in hips and legs, temp 99-101, sweats, lack of energy, sleeping a lot, blood work is off - hct 33, other s out of normal range, pale or waxy yellowish color, lack of appetite - just looks and acts sick. He s not a complainer. Recently he learned his PSA has doubled in 9 mo. following a rad prostatectomy Jan 2012. I m worried! Family doctor said viral infection. Can that be?

HI
Well come to HCM
Non specific kind of fever may be likely and this does not need any treatment but this would come around on its own, if this does not come around then this need to be investigated, but this would be fine soon, take care.
