Yes Doctor and friend of mine fell at tysons 3 months ago through the ladder hatch 6 feet above ground level where his left arm and left leg received the blunt of the trama he was operated on a little over 2 weeks ago came home came home on 3/10 2017. home health care is taking care of him and the nurse today got a lot more drainage out plus blood clots and i smell a fowl order coming from the wound plus he is running a low grade temp of 99.6 now yesterday it was 100.2

your friend needs proper wound care depending on the degree of infection. if it's mild infection with little pus or debris all you need is to clean it with an antiseptic at least 3times a day. if pus is too much then he might need surgical debribement that could be provided by his doctor. he might also need antibiotics if the infection persists and his fever goes high
