What Causes Fever With Blood In Mucus?

Had a cold with a bit of fever for seven days now. On Thursday thought i was feeling better but instead instead i got really stuffy towards evening and when i tried to blow my nose blood came instead of mucas i went to the doctor on friday and was given amoxicillin 500mg which is taken 3 times per day. As of today I am still blowing blood whenever i feel stuffy. I am getting worried, please help!

Hi.
First of all stop blowing the nose.
instill Otrivin or such nasal decongestant nasal drops to reduce the congestion and stop bleeding. Consult an ENT for a proper clinical and endoscopic examination and to get proper supportive medicines like oral decongestant and anti-inflammatory medicines along with Amoxicillin.
Take a bed-rest.
