What Causes Fine Powdery Scalp And Heaviness?

I left a an old expired shampoo sitting in my hair and now it absorbed into my scalp for years. My hair has a scalp shedding of some kind of fine fine powder that I can t see or touch but I feel it from the heaviness of my scalp and I sneeze from it a lot. What gets rid of deeply embedded chemicals from scalp? Like an extreme skin detoxifier?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It appears that using old expired shampoo has resulted in contact dermatitis as well as fungal infection of your scalp.
Use ketoconazole shampoo daily for 21 days along with Selenium based shampoo twice a week.
Your symptoms will gradually subside in a week or ten days.
You can continue to use these shampoos twice a week regularly thereafter.
Wish you good health.
