What Causes Fizzing Noise In Throat?

Hi, my name is Emily. For as long as I can remember(I m 18 now),my throat makes fizzing noises when I first wake up in the morning, or when I don t eat for awhile. What is it? I ve asked this before, but never gotten a clear answer. Oh, and sometimes it can be very painful and burns. Thanks!

Hello ,

Thanks for consulting HCM

I have read your query . As far as fizzy noise in throat is concerned this can be due to strep throat or respiratory tract infection . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clincal examination and treatment . Inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day and you can take medicine like Azithromycin or cefixime by conaulting with local doctor .

Hope this will help you .
