What Causes Flaring Up Of Pain And Bruising Between Breasts?

I am having and pain that flares up and swelling that feels like a bruise between my breast. At one time 25 years ago I was told I had a ulcer. I try not to eat foods that can bother it. but at 54 sometimes it feels like a knife stabbing me through to my back and the swelling has just started coming on more when I feel stress.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Pain in between the breasts, aggravated during stress is most likely due to gastric acid reflux and gastric ulcer.
I will suggest you to take antacids like pantoprazole to see if you get relief.
You should also consult a gastroenterologist to assess whether you require a endoscopy for diagnosis.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
