What Causes Flashes Of Light In The Field Of Vision?
My mother is 89 and lives in another state by herself. She is healthly, but has macular degeneration in her eyes. I want to bring her to live with us, but she doesn t like cold weather. Problem is...she believes someone is flashing blue burning lights, orange laser lights, motion detectors at her thru the blinds, curtains etc. Her mind is sharp but this seems unquestionable as no has seen anyone outside and the police won t come anymore. Would her eye sight have anything to do with these strange lights.

It is a degenerative condition of the retina. She should take antioxidant. She should take fish maceral sardine can take chord liver oil visual acuity be recorded fundus examination should be done and observe foveal reflex observe if there is macular burn for recovery follow-up can be done and visual acuity recorded strange light are visual hallucination field tracing should be done any opiate or drugs like fort win should be stopped deaddiction clinic can be consulted for counseling. Anti-glare specs can be used and anti-glare screen can be fitted in front of the computer to avoid computer vision syndrome leading to dry eye and corneal erosion hour of exposure be reduced.
