What Causes Flashing Light In Vision?

last night I got scared. When i got back from my work out at the gym, I suddenly had something strange in my vision. It looked like a ceiling fan was above me. Bright lights flashing, going around in a circle. And to the left of my vision too. I sat down on the couch, closed my eyes. Just tried to calm down. It lasted for about 10-15 minutes. Never mind. I didn t know I d have to pay.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are had flashes of light.
These symptoms indicate problems involving the posterior segment of the eye in vitreous or retina in the form of vitreous degeneration, retinal thinning...
Most of the times it will resolve and may not require any treatment. However examination of the retina by ophthalmologist is necessary.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
