What Causes Flat Finger Nails?

My mom noticed her fingernails n my dads are becoming flatter,, she has an early age diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, but my dad has no known arthritic conditions, so we re just concerned of what could be going on that they re both having the same symptoms

Hello and welcome.

Check on your fathers RA factor and an elaborate blood profile including ESR, CRP, and all other impottant parameters.

If at all he has inflammation or pain in any joints, get x-rays of the affected regions and either write back to me using our premium service or visit an orthopedician.
