What Causes Flatulence In Infants, Resulting In Them Crying After Every Feed?

My baby is 8 weeks old and he has loud breathing when he sleeps and after every bottle of Enfamil he seems to go through this cycle of pain and crying and kicking his legs and is gassy and obviously uncomfortable - what do you think is going on with him?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic forum. I understand your concerns.
From your description it looks like there is some problem with food and its ingredients. It seems like there is possible allergy to this type of mils or there is congenital bowel issues such as coeliac. It would be good to do food allergy testing and change Enfamil with some other supplement. Also, it is wiser to breastfeed baby till 1st years if you are able to. In future, try to have smaller meals but more often and you can use Komarach tea as a product to relief gasses and abdominal cramps in baby.
I hope I have answered your query.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
