What Causes Fleshy Bumps On The Penis?

I recently noticed a very large bump on the base of my penis so I went to the doctor and he confirmed it was a mole but now after a couple months 4 more have appeared and there are smaller flesh colored dots popping up. I ve been with the same partner for 2 years now and she has no symptoms. Our local hospital isn t very trustworthy though and I m scared it s something more serious.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Appearance of new pigmented lesions / moles on penis needs to be investigated.
Pigmented lesions can be due to non-neoplastic proliferation of melanocytes or they could be due to more serious pathology like dysplastic naevi or malignant melanoma.
I suggest you to consult a skin specialist for clinical assessment of these lesions.
A biopsy from these lesions may also be required to determine the nature and character of these lesions.

Thanks and take care
