What Causes Floater In Left Eye With Recurring Flashes Of Light?
Just this afternoon, notice slight black spot - floater - only one - in left eye with occasional flashes of light like lightning with no apparent reason - no headache - no dizziness ... could this be possibly the beginning of a detached retina ? I am a RN

Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
We have to rule out possible causes like vitreous bleed.
Detailed evaluation is required including a B SCAN.
