What Causes Floaters Like String On Left Side Of Eye?

I have a floaters that looks like a string and also flashes on the far left side of my eye A couple of days ago I bumped my head on the back of the couch because the custion wasnt there and I didnt know it. Could that cause floaters and flashes in my left eye?

Floaters can occur with trauma. It would be best to see an opthalmologist regarding the floaters because they can sometimes be associated with serious causes.

These causes need to be eliminated first by assessment.
