Hi.

In simply words a floater is an abnormality in the visual field which leads to an object or spots which resembles a shadow to be part of the visual field at all times, limiting or blocking out acess the the region lying behind that part of the field.

At present you need not worry about the mild glaucoma. Your doctor might start you off on some drops for the glaucoma, but I would either way recommend half-yearly visits to your doctor for regular examination of the glaucoma.

Best wishes.
