What Causes Flow Of Blood And Pus From A Knot On The Buttocks?

I was going through training and hurt my tailbone from bending over too far. For a week my butt was swollen and i could barely walk and move around. Well one week later the swelling starts to go down so of course i was happy. Then i noticed that it was still a knot left that was painful. As i went to massage the knot puss and blood comes out of it. It was a great bit of puss and blood. Any idea as to why?

Hi,
It seems that there might be infection followed by injury and hematoma formation.
Consult your doctor and get it cleaned properly with antiseptic lotion, remove the pus and exudates and dressed with antibiotic cream by doctor only.
go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days.
