What Causes Flu, Cough And Fever After Unprotected Sex?
Hi Doctor. I'm a 40 years old ma. 5 days ago I had a sexaul intercourse with a lady without condom. 2 days after this relation, I have started to feel some chages on my body like flu, cough, sneezing, little fever. Can it be some some sysmptoms of HIV within 2-3 days after sexual relation? Thanks your answer in advance. Hakan

thank you for query.These are symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections.so you could have acquired it because of kiss and air borne spread from the partner or it may be from some other person.It is air borne spread.It may not be due to HIV which may take more than 3 days .You can get back to me for any clarifications.Dr Bharatesh D Basti
