What Causes Flu-like Symptoms, Numb Hands And Swollen Glands?

My Mom is sick, has flu-like symptoms but she has HIGH blood pressure. She's taking Benicar 40-125mg as treatment. She just recently told me that both of her hand have went numb and the glands on both sides of her neck are swollen. She also says she is dizzy. She doesn't want to have to go to a hospital but she will if she has to. Can we have some help?
