What Causes Fluctuating BP In A Person On Procardia XL 60mg,Losartan 100/25?
what causes my BP to be up and down..I am currently taking Procardia XL 60mg,Losartan 100/25..I have a terrible headache for 2 days now..My blood pressure earlier was 139/101, twenty minutes later it was 149/104 and 5 minute ago it was 136/93..Please help

The cause for the head ache is
1. Low heart rate or increased heart rate, typically low heart rate causes giddiness and lightheadedness.
2. Fluctuation in the blood pressure will cause lot of discomfort like headache, retrobulbar pain.
The best way to solve is to change the antihypertensive drugs, measure the blood pressure at regular intervals and make a note of it.
If there is variation in the blood pressure and if we feel it needs attention, then antihypertensive drugs belonging to group of different classes are adviced accordingly.
