What Causes Fluctuation In Body Temperature Along With Muscle Aches?

I started to experience extreme body temperature changes from cold to hot starting last night. One minute I was freezing and covered with blankets and the next minute I was burning up and had a temperature of 100.6. I was also experiencing nausea but never threw up. My muscles ache all over my body and my hands feel a little numb. I took a phenegran and an Ibuprofen last night. Today when I woke up I no longer had a fever or any of the other symptoms except for the body aches and the numbness in my hands. Please advise me on what this is and what I should do. Thank you.

Welcome to the HCM
These symptoms could be because of viral fever or infection inside body.To rule out any infection you may need complete blood count with malarial parasite ,blood culture and urine test to be done to rule out any common infection.
I would also like to ask that wether you have traveled somewhere outside your native place or had some food outside or have any urine symptoms associated with it.
Since feverand bodyache are just symptoms ,alarming to the sign of any infection in body,so better you get tests done and discuss further.
