What Causes Fluctuation In Body Temperature With BP Level Of 163/83?
I am constantly hot and then chilled, my hands are cold, I get clammy, very uncomfortable. I do no sweat, heat stays inside my body, at times my forhead aches. I take 40M blood pressure pills, right now my b/P is 163/83 Something is wrong. I called my Doc. he says I am OK??
Pheochromocytoma is a possibility, in view of fluctuating BP and other somatic symptoms.
Alternatively, you may be having paroxysmal hypertension without obvious provocative factors & repressed emotional trauma causing condition called pseudopheochromocytoma.
You may go for plasma levels of free metanephrines as initial test. Thyroid function test (Free T3, Free T4 & TSH) also won't be out of place.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
