Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an echo done almost a year ago which was normal with an ejection fraction of 65%. My MD said that this indicated that no further testing was necessary. Lately I ve had a fluctuation in heartrate while at rest. Would the echo have indicated whether there were possible blockages?
Hello, welcome to health care magic. You hsve nt mentioned how much fluctuation you haave in your heart rate. Echocardiogram can tell about the functioning of heart burt cannot tell about the blockages in arteries , for this a coronary angiogram has to be done.
