What Causes Fluctuations In BP Even After Taking Losartan 50 Mg Two Times A Day?
I was taking carvedilol 12.5mg x2 a day and Losartan 50mg x1 a day for high blood pressure. Because my blood pressure was still high (around 135 sometimes), my doctor advised that I take carvedilol 12.5mg x2 and Losartan 50mg x2 a day and observe. I think my blood pressure became higher, often around 140/90, 150/95. Sometimes it was lower, 127/80. It fluctuates. I had readings as high as 167/102 (just now). Why is it that a higher dose of Losartan does not seem to calm my blood pressure? Should I go back to Losartan 50mg x1 a day?

youhave to follow the advise of physician and take medication with salt free diet. hypertensive profile should be done and and monitoring of bp should be done and physician can be consulted
